Teriyaki Salmon

Ingredients

Salmon fillet (with skin on) 1500g
Vegetable oil 45g
Garnish:
Sesame seeds, toasted 30g
Spring onions, sliced (alternative garnish) 30g

Method

1 Preheat a frying pan to medium heat. Place the salmon fillet skin side down in the frying pan.
2 Brush the sauce mix over the salmon and continue to glaze with more sauce until the salmon is cooked through and the sauce has become thick and sticky. Turn occasionally to cook the salmon through thoroughly.
3 The more gradual the cooking period, the better the glaze will be. So you can build up the layers of sticky sauce around the salmon fillet.
4 Garnish with toasted sesame seeds or spring onions and serve with rice or noodles.
