Cantonese Sweet Chilli Sauce

Spicy Crispy Beef

Ingredients

Sirloin beef steak, sliced into the strips  300g
Cornflour  4 Tbsp
Springs of Spring Onions, finely sliced 2
Ginger, granted  1 Tsp
Garlic, minced  1 Tsp
Egg, beaten 1

Marinade

Shaoxing wine (or any similar)  1 Tbsp

Method

1 Marinate the beef for 10 minutes then mix with the egg mixture, then drain.
2 Add the beef into the cornflour bowl then toss until fully coated before deep frying until golden.
3 Sauté minced ginger and garlic in a saucepan, add in the crispy beef and spring onions. Serve with Lee Kum Kee (Professional) Cantonese Sweet Chilli Sauce as a dipping sauce.
